The 100% owned Baldwin Hills (E59/2422 - 60 km2) project is located 55km northeast of the township of Wubin and 270km northeast of Perth, in Western Australia’s Western Yilgarn Region. This project was renamed to honour a founding shareholder Dave Baldwin who greatly supported the company .
Recent exploration has indicated a substantial buried mafic to ultramafic intrusive complex with coincident Nickel-Copper and PGE anomalism in soil geochemistry. This area remains largely untested and represents a compelling target for magmatic Nickel-Copper-PGE mineralisation. In addition, the identification of five (5) hitherto unmarked Gold shafts on the Baldwin Hills project is extremely positive and indicates that existing geological maps are not necessarily complete.
AMTG is ready to commence drilling at Baldwin Hills, having already submitted a Programme of Work (POW) for up to 50 aircore drill holes. The ground-based EM surveys planned for second half of 2024 will target potential massive sulphide accumulations, helping to refine the drill targets over the significant soil anomaly.
Geological maps showing AMTG's prospect at Baldwin Hills in relation to Chalice Mining. Chalice’s share price surged by as much as 5000%, peaking at over A$9 per share following the discovery of the Gonneville Deposit, which defined the new West Yilgarn Ni-Cu-PGE Province, extending ~1,200km along the western margin of the Yilgarn Craton.
